Van, Skoolie, and RV Lighting is the best way to set the mood and energy of your living space. Sometimes overlooked in the heat of designing a Build, the lighting you choose will make a huge difference in appearance as well as how it feels to spend time in your new home! LED Strip Lights can completely change the look of your bus or van. You can never have too many LED Area Lights and you can even add a 12v Spotlight while still going easy on power consumption.

If you’ve had a look at our Solar 101, Solar Cheat Sheet, or Step By Step Solar Tutorials you understand the advantages of choosing 12 volt lighting over standard (120v) household lighting and probably have a decent idea of how to hook it all up and tie it all in to your Skoolie or Vanlife electrical system. While there’s no shame in using regular incandescent automotive lights, you will save a substantial amount of power by going with all, or mostly, LED lighting for your Rig.

LED Strip Lights - Color Changing LED Lights

The easiest way to turn a boring old Build into something special is with color changing or dimmable LED Lights. Tucked away out of sight, behind a molding, under the cabinet or toe-kick, they add soft mood lighting to your space.
